Manufacturer information — this site is operated by an authorized distributor, not by Unipulse Corporation

A Japanese manufacturer founded in 1970 in Tokyo, headquartered in Nihonbashi Hisamatsucho, Chuo-ku, with about 275 employees (January 2026). Unipulse began as a manufacturer specializing in strain gauge sensors. In 1979 it opened its manufacturing plant in Saitama; in 2013 it moved to in-house production of strain gauges and load cells; in 2015 it founded the ROBOTEC Inc. subsidiary for torque actuators (UNISERVO); and in 2021 it expanded its testing facilities and production capacity for torque measurement. Its mission: to be "the first in Japan and the world" in pulse (digital) circuit technology.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Unipulse

Unipulse manufactures 9 load cell types (high accuracy, compact compression, compression, press fitting, tension/compression, tension, beam, single point, and multi axis) and each one is optimized for a different force direction and mounting method. Tell us about your application and we will recommend the right type.

A rotary torque meter measures torque directly on a rotating shaft, unlike a static torque meter, which measures at a fixed position. Unipulse's rotary torque meter is a de facto industry standard for shaft type torque measurement during development and manufacturing.

Yes. As the authorized distributor, we coordinate calibration, diagnostics, and replacement parts for Unipulse load cells, torque meters, and displacement sensors already in operation through our network of authorized service providers, rather than directly through the manufacturer.

As the distributor, we handle equipment sales. If you need to evaluate the unit before purchasing, tell us about your application (weight, cycle, space) using the quote form and we will advise you on the best option.

It depends on the model and whether it needs to be imported from the factory in Japan. Send us your application details (force, torque, displacement, or load capacity) and we will give you an accurate lead time.
